News Paper article...

Well the news paper article came out in today's paper. We didn't really expect a whole lot of response right away, but Mom got emails and orders for soap this morning because of it.
Be sure to check it out!

Deep in Our Refrigerator

The refrigerator is not a place where dust should collect. However cleaning out the fridge today I found some in the back on the bottom where no one ever goes, dust, and also some hair... Anyway, it reminded me of a poem I read a while ago...

Deep in Our Refrigerator

by Jack Prelutsky

Deep in our refrigerator,
there's a special place
for food that's been around awhile . . .
we keep it, just in case.
“It's probably too old to eat,”
my mother likes to say.
“But I don't think it's old enough
for me to throw away.”

It stays there for a month or more
to ripen in the cold,
and soon we notice fuzzy clumps
of multicolored mold.
The clumps are larger every day,
we notice this as well,
but mostly what we notice
is a certain special smell.

When finally it all becomes
a nasty mass of slime,
my mother takes it out, and says,
“Apparently, it's time.”
She dumps it in the garbage can,
though not without regret,
then fills the space with other food
that's not so ancient yet

Christmas presents...

Well the home show is finally over. Actually it's been over for over a week now. We baked a million cookies. We've finally been able to enjoy some Christmas festivities of our own. We're going to bake a million more cookies too. I love Christmas cookies.
We got our tree too. And you have to admit it's pretty awesome...

That's a terrible picture. You're going to have to trust me on this one. It's the best tree.

Here are the clothes pin dolls I've been working on for the past four days. Christmas presents for my littlest sister...

I'm so excited!
